Linda Marie Rife Martin

Linda Marie (Rife) Martin, 61, of Oak Harbor, died unexpectedly, Monday, January 12, 2015, at her home. She was born February 23, 1953, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Wilfred and June (Fleckner) Rife. She had worked as an office manager for Superior Wire and part time for the Port Clinton Walmart. Linda LaLa spent her time, energy and love first and foremost on her family. She was hardworking and committed to anything she put her mind to. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, who would enjoy Meemaws doting and laughter. For the rest of us, she opened her home and good nature every year for the annual Apple Festival celebration, where we could congregate for the parade and the kids could line up on the street to collect their bags of candy. Linda is survived by her daughter, Heather (Mike) Bodi, grandchildren, Mason and Ella, son, Ryan Spence Jensen, and grandchild, Faith, brothers, David (Jenny) Rife and Daniel (Faye) Rife, sister-in-law, Diane Rife, half sister, Cheryl Williams, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Kenneth G. Rife, niece, Staci Rife, nephews, Danny Rife and Jimmy Patton, and great nephew, Robert Yurista. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 16, 2015, at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 122 W. Ottawa St., Oak Harbor, with burial to follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery. Memorials for Linda may be directed to the family or to the donors choice.
