Linda A. Doering

Linda A. Doering, age 67 of Waterville passed away Sunday August 5, 2018 in Flower Hospital. She was born November 21, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to Ojars and Milda Podins. A 1968 graduate of Whitmer High School, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toledo. She enjoyed flowers, crafts and especially cats. She also enjoyed traveling, visiting such places as South and Central America, China, Germany, Latvia and South Africa. She was a former member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Toledo and a current member of Community of Christ Lutheran Church, Whitehouse. Surviving is her husband Fred Doering whom she married on June 19, 1976; brother-in-law John Doering; sister-in-law Kathryn Doering; mother-in-law Betty Kozak; niece Amelia Doering; nephew William Doering; step-siblings Carol Campagna and Thomas and James Kozak; and other extended family members. Friends will be received at Community of Christ Lutheran Church, 6517 Finzel Rd. Whitehouse, Ohio on Thursday after 10:30 AM where funeral services will follow at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the church or Paws and Whiskers Cat Shelter, 32 Hillwyck Dr. Toledo, Ohio 43615.
