Linda L. Carls

Linda L. Dameron Carls passed away peacefully at home on Decem-ber 26th, 2022 in Toledo, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her brother, Johnnie Humphries and parents John and Claudine Humphries. She is survived by her loving husband, Jack R. Carls, children Jack (Melissa) Carls, Jamey (An-gela) Carls and Mylinda (Jonathan) Gray, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grand-children; sister Brenda (Tom) Estep and brother Steve (Michelle) Humphries. Special friends include Hollie Reichle-Carls, Pat Daniel, Bonnie Johnson, Sherry Bettinger, and Teresa Mathis.

Linda, along with her husband, Jack, dedicated their lives to the ministry working in home missions for the United Pentecostal Church International, assisting in and starting a Pentecostal Church in Clinton, Illinois. Linda served as pastors wife as she assisted her husband in pioneering churches in Burlington and Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. After dedicating their lives in missions ministry for over 20 years, they retired from the ministry in 1985. She worked as an accountant with the Rouse Company at Westland Mall in Burlington, Iowa and then at Franklin Park Mall in Toledo, Ohio. Linda’s passion in life centered around her love for her husband Jack, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her church. She cherished time spent with her family and friends. Some of her favorite times were the holiday seasons and vacationing in Hilton Head Island with her family and her sister’s family. She was an inspiration to many through her faith. She attended Antioch Apostolic Church pastored by Derrick and Sis. Torrey.

Visitation will be held at Antioch Apostolic Church, 828 Rall Road, Toledo, OH on Friday, December 30th from 10 am to 12 pm with a Memorial service beginning at 12 pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to www.lifelineconnect.org.
