Lillie J. French, 85, of Maumee, Ohio passed away in her home on May 1st, 2017. She was born in Toledo to Andrew and Barbara (Zablocki) Czebatul on March 26th, 1932. Lillie was employed at Key Bank (the former Society and Toledo Trust) for 19 years retiring in 1993. She was an active member of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church. Lillie will be remembered for her generosity, care giving, piano playing, and for always putting others before herself. She enjoyed tap dancing, tennis, golf, walking, and spending time with family and friends. The world was her family, she never met a stranger. She is survived by daughters, Linda French, Elaine (Don) Abel, Pamela (Scott) Wegman and Ami French; son, Timothy (Barb) French; grandchildren, Ani, Marna, Mickey Lee, Kameron, Kyrsten, Asa, Olivia and Timothy; best friends, Elsie Czebatul and Jan Fralic; many nieces and nephews who will miss her as well as a host of church friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond E. French; sister, Virginia Szkutnik; and brother, William Czebatul. Visitation for Lillie will be held at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church from 10am to 11am on Thursday, May 4, 2017 with a Memorial Mass to follow. Interment will be private.
