Lillian P. Prisby, beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025, in Sylvania, Ohio. She was 98 years old.
Lillian was born on January 2, 1927, and grew up in East Toledo. She attended St. Louis Catholic Grade School and Waite High School. She had a career in banking and married her husband Ted in 1963. Ted and Lillian raised their three sons in Oregon, OH.
A devout Catholic, she lived her life in a way that exemplified her faith. Ted and Lillian loved gardening and cultivated a beautiful landscape. Lillian’s mother Pearl often referred to the Oregon yard as the “Garden of Eden.” Ted and Lillian also enjoyed traveling. There were family trips to various destinations, with Florida being a favorite. She and Ted would also travel to the annual roofing conventions throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
Fun to be around, Lillian had a wonderful sense of humor. Her grandchildren were special to her, and she enjoyed competing against them in board games like Candy Land, Sorry! and Monopoly. Game time always included smiles and laughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Prisby, brother Robert Pencheff, sister Diana Anthony, and mother Pearl Pencheff. Lillian is survived by her sons Christopher (Paula), Michael (Nancy), and James (Melanie), her nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, friends, and extended family.
Visitation will be at Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, Rossford (830 Lime City Rd.) on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 4:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 25 at All Saints Church in Rossford at 10:00 A.M. All who knew her are welcome to attend and share memories. Burial will be private for the family at Ft.
