Lillian May Petree

Lillian May Petree of Perrysburg, OH passed away on July 25, 2016 at Kingston Center of Perrysburg. She was born on October 13, 1927 to Sam and Margaret (Velarius) Gibberson in Toledo, Ohio. Lillian was the Director of Medical Records for Riverside Hospital for over 30 years. After retirement she volunteered at Riverside Hospital and St. Anne’s Hospital. Lil loved nothing more than to spend time with her grandchidren and great grandchildren and cherished them greatly. Lil loved crocheting afghans for family and friends not only as gifts but as keepsakes. She will also be remembered as an avid crossword enthusiast. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Jane Shope, Helen Taylor, and Gloria Golas. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 70 years, Virgil; sons, Jack (Annette) Petree, Michael (Nancy) Petree; grandchildren, Shannyn, Ryan, Christopher, Kyle, and Alyssa; 4 great grandchildren; and sister, Donna (David) Venzke. Visitation will take place at Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 2-8 PM with funeral services to be conducted at 11 AM Thursday, July 28, 2016 with burial to follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
