Lillian C. Mahoney

Lillian C. Mahoney, 89, of Catawba Island, passed away Saturday, February 01, 2014 in Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. Lillian was born July 17, 1924 in Manning, SC, the daughter of Luther E. and Ada O. Johnson White. On September 28, 1946 in Columbus, OH, she married Gale Mahoney and he preceded her in death on August 20, 2002. Lillian was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, housework and her jewelry. Survivors include: Sons: Dennis Julie Mahoney of Iowa and Tim Mary Mahoney of Catawba Island. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Richard James Mahoney, sisters: Juanita Corbin, Helen Remington, brothers: Gary White, Vernon White and LaFeight White. Visitation will be 10-11AM, Saturday, February 08, 2014, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, following visitation in the funeral home. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, FL. Memorial donations in memory of Lillian can be given to Riverview Healthcare Lighthouse Memory or The Chalet at the Vineyards, Catawba Island.
