Lillian F. Hahn, 79, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away on January 7, 2026. Born to Roy and Ruth (Huston) Aldrich, Lillian grew up embracing the simple joys of life with her whole heart.
Lillian married the love of her life, William "Bill" Hahn, and together they shared 48 wonderful years. She often joked that she traded in her life for racing, happily spending countless days at dirt tracks across Fremont, Attica, Eldora, and Findlay. Watching Bill and their children race became one of her greatest joys. Family was what she valued most, musing she could have gone directly to being a great-grandma.
A truly genuine soul, Lillian spoke with kindness and encouragement to everyone she met. She reminded her family often of their worth and beauty, believing deeply that everyone deserved love. She never met a stranger; there were only friends she hadn't gotten to know yet. Her ability to remember people, make them feel seen, and welcome them with open arms was one of her most cherished gifts.
Lillian treasured her daily lunches at the Landings of Oregon, sharing stories and friendship with both residents and staff. She made it her mission to ensure everyone felt included, offering her attention and companionship happily.
Lillian is survived by her son Kenneth (Robin) Hahn; grandchildren: Heather (Nathaniel) Hoffman, Nicole (David) Hartbarger, Paul Jr. Eicher, Malissa Malathong, Mike Eicher, James (Tiffany) Boatman, Kodi (Kyndel) Frye, Katie (Oasha) Eckford, and Laci Woolf; great-grandchildren: Clara, Salem, Azalia, Noel, Bentlee, Dawson, and Blaize; great-grand pets: Dexter and Money; and sister Nancy Hess. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Kerry Sue Frye, and siblings: Dale Aldrich, Patty Gentry, and Richard Aldrich.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 12, from 2-7 PM at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory at 501 West St. Genoa, OH with funeral service at 7 PM. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lillian's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
