Lillian Mae Cavanaugh-Hammer

Early Monday morning Lillian Mae (Lush) Cavanaugh-Hammer closed her eyes with loving arms wrapped around her and opened her eyes in the presence of Jesus. She was born in Bloomington, Illinois on May 23, 1933 to Ivan Willard and Mildred Wilma (Turner) Lush. Lillian worked as a secretary for Caterpillar Inc. where she excelled in short hand and typing. Later on she worked for Kmart in customer service. She was an avid reader, enjoyed shopping, cooking, baking and spending time on Facebook. Lillian loved her cats and enjoyed watching cardinals. She loved God and was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was so proud of her family and cherished the time she had with them. Lillian will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Lillian is survived by her daughters, Linda (Mickey) Davis, Lisa (Bill) McCormick and Lila (Scott) Yenglin; son, Todd (Ann) Cavanaugh; grandchildren, Jason (Toni) Yenglin, Amber (Brandon) Tucker, Justin Yenglin, Gregory (Katherine) Garcia, Natalie (Mike) Piernick, twins Brandon and Brett Yenglin, Nicholas Garcia, Adam Skinner, Dustin McCormick, Kayla (Bart) Jones, Todd Cavanaugh and Blake Yenglin; great grandchildren, Camden Yenglin, Alexis, Marissa and Natalia Freeman, Dom and Ryley Tucker, Audrey Piernick, Carson and Connor Jones, Jacob, Olivia and Gabriel Garcia, Landreth, Elizabeth, Caleb, Elijah and Hayden Garcia; dearest friends, Judy and Lillian. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband and father of her children, Floyd Cavanaugh and husband, Kenneth Hammer. Friends will be received at Walker Funeral Home, Witzler-Shank Chapel, 222 E. South Boundary St. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133) on Monday, August 17, 2020 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with a funeral service at noon. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc, MI.
