Lila M. Sevitts Oreskovich

Lila M. Sevitts Oreskovich, 75, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 26, 1934 in Fremont, OH, the daughter of Robert and Violet Geary. Lila worked as a homemaker. She was a past member of the Junior Womens Club, Playmakers Civic Theatre, Elks Lodge #1718 and the Port Clinton Yacht Club. Lila was a current member of the Catawba Island Club. She was a great bridge player and an excellent cook. Lila won the CIC Womens Golf 18 Hole Championship Tournament in 1985. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Son: Thomas Kim Sevitts of Tulsa, OK; Daughter: Lee Ann Sevitts-Oreskovich of Toledo, OH; Step-Children: Robert Oreskovich of Temperance, MI, Karl Nancy Oreskovich of Port Clinton, OH, James Bo Oreskovich of Huron, OH, Laurie Pat Plummer of Ontario, OR and Lynne Seyb of Boise, ID; Brothers: Thomas Judy Geary of Wiley Ford, WV and Robert Geary of California; Grandchidren: Jennifer Kyle Loar, Tiffany Sean Monday, Corey Sevitts, Amanda Matt Sheppard, Anna, Elizabeth and Melanie Oreskovich, Carl and Alex Seyb, Sam & Kat Plummer; Great-Grandchildren: Ashton, Madelyn and Lillian Loar and Mila Sheppard. Lila was preceded in death by her parents, first husband: James B. Sevitts and 2nd husband: Robert B. Oreskovich and sister: Betty Lou Bacon. Visitation will be 5-7PM, Friday, July 24, 2009 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Private family graveside services will held at 11:30AM, Saturday, July 25, 2009 in Catawba Island Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Lila may be given to Heartland Hospice, Humane Society of Ottawa County or North Coast Cancer Foundation.
