Lewis Abdo

Lewis Abdo, aged 95, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Tuesday Sept 29, 2015 surrounded by loving family members. Lewis the son of Charles Abdo and Mary (Anton ) Abdo was born on November 15, 1919 in Charleston W.V His family moved to Toledo in the 1920’s and Lewis spent much of his youth helping his father with his produce business. He always had an entrepreneurial spirit and was a highly successful night club owner and businessman. He owned the Carousel Club on Central Avenue for many years. Lewis then owned an award winning construction company, Abdo Remodelers for 28 years His successes in business and his generosity will always be remembered by close family members. Lewis was predeceased by his beloved wife (Mac) Mary Louise Abdo and 9 brothers and sisters. Lewis is survived by his sister, Beauty Abdo Mathias; daughter, Joyce (Alphonse) Versprille; granddaughter, Lynda (Alan) Robinson; son, Robert (Marlene) McFarland; granddaughter, Trisha (Amaury) Rosado; granddaughter, Kelly McFarland; grandson, Robert Lewis McFarland and many nieces and nephews, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee on Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 10 AM until the time of services at 12:00 PM.
