Levora M Bettinger

Levora M. Bettinger, age 86, of Holland, Ohio died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. She was born in Springfield Township on December 7, 1926 to Floyd A. and Evelyn M. (Greenfield) Gibson and on November 27, 1945 she married Leo H. Bettinger who preceded her in death on January 5, 2006. Levora was a charter member of Providence Lutheran Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved music and thoroughly enjoyed feeding and watching birds. For over 25 years, Levora and her husband, Leo, enjoyed wintering in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by hers sons, Michael L. (Beverly) Bettinger and David T. (Bonnie) Bettinger; grandchildren, Shauna (Steven) Stevenson, Brian (Jennifer) Bettinger and Derrick (Rachael) Bettinger; great grandchildren, Aiden, Derrick Jr., Dominick and Emma as well as her sister, Joyce (Thomas) Bragg. In addition to her husband, Levora was preceded in death by her son, Steven D. Bettinger and sister, Violet Myers. Friends will be received from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Providence Lutheran Church, 8131 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 where a memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M.
