Leslie Ann Sheets

Leslie Ann Sheets passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on the evening of October 21, 2026.
A deeply family-oriented woman, Leslie attended both The Ohio State University and Riverside Nursing School. Above all, Leslie loved spending time with her family, creating a lifetime of warm memories that they will forever cherish. In her spare time, she found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, including gardening, getting lost in a good book, listening to music, and cheering on her Steelers.
Leslie was the beloved wife of Lester M. Sheets, with whom she shared over 61 beautiful years of marriage.
She is survived by her brother, Donald Tumblin Jr. (Cheryl); her children, Adam Sheets (Amanda), Carrie Almquist (Brad), and Aaron Sheets (Ashley). Leslie's legacy of love continues through her cherished grandchildren, Hayley, Leigha, Dylan, Gavin, Alexis, Jasmine, Payton, and Maxwell, and her great-grandchildren, Evelynn and Bennet, all of whom affectionately called her "Grammie." She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Leslie was preceded in death by her father, Donald Tumblin, and her mother, Elizabeth Tumblin
Visitation will be held at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio, on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, and Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. Additional visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m., immediately followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Maumee.
