Leslie Marvin Davis

Leslie Davis, 70, passed away in the early hours of the morning on August, 8, 2020 at St. Lukes Hospital. Leslie was born on June 3, 1950 to the late Roy (Chuck) and Marthann (Marty) Davis in Toledo. On May 1st, 2015, he married the love of his life, Ginny Davis. He was a dedicated and hardworking employee, working for Jeep for over 30 years and for Sylvania schools for 16 years. He was loved by everyone he was around. His children were his pride and joy. He had fun playing with his grandchildren whenever he saw them. In his spare time, he loved riding motorcycles. In his younger days, he enjoyed traveling with his children and camping. Most of all, he found enjoyment in spending time with those whom he loved. He will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. A true friend who would give you the shirt off his back. And the biggest jokester, comedian, and cook. His favorite candy - everything that didn't eat him first. Though he was incredibly fond of spaghetti, ice cream, and chips. All who came in contact with this wonderful man remember his kind heart, the love he had for his family, his joking around with everyone and the smile he shared with everyone he encountered. Left to cherish his memory are the love of his life, Ginny Davis; his brothers, Roy (Bob) Davis, Mike (Connie) Davis; his children, David (Kate) Davis, Les (Tabitha) Davis II, Tim Davis; his step-children, Tiffany Gibson and Kelly Gibson II; and many nieces, nephews, and a slue of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Leslie is preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 6-9PM at the Walker Funeral Home (5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623). A Funeral Service will be held at 8PM, the same day, in the funeral home. Due to recent health orders, those in attendance will be required to wear a mask.
