Leroy W Heminger

LEROY W. HEMINGER LeRoy W. Heminger, 88, of Perrysburg, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. LeRoy was born October 12, 1928 in Whitehouse, Ohio to Clifford and Fern A. (Studer) Heminger. He proudly served our country in The United States Army. He married Rosalie M. Nachtrab on May 21, 1971 in Toledo, Ohio and she preceded him in death on March 7, 2016. LeRoy was a member of Yeshua Messiahs’ Church in Toledo and was recently baptized. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and restoring antique furniture. He was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Indians fan. He is survived by his children, Beverly L. (Jan) Harbaugh and Richard W. (Kathy) Heminger, stepchildren, Gail M. (Michael) Richardson and Steven E. Briggs; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and brother, Marvin (Bonnie) Heminger. Along with his wife, Rosalie, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clair E. Heminger, and first wife, Betty (Crace) Heminger. Friends will be received Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 2-8 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11 A.M. with Michael Richardson, officiating.
