Leroy A. Frankforther, age 85, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 1, 1925 in Maumee, Ohio to Verne and Naome Fredrick Frankforther. Leroy was employed as a bricklayer and mason for A.J. Wilson, B & L Construction and Local 3. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army serving during WWII. Leroy was a member of the Maumee American Legion Post 320, 24th Infantry Division Association, Union Local 3 and parishioner of St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg. An avid golfer, Leroy enjoyed collecting pennies and coins. Leroy is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy Frankforther, whom he married January 16, 1947; daughter, Joyce Jeff Schneider; grandsons, Noel and Chad Farmer; great grandchildren, Blake and Braaden; son-in-law, Dennis Farmer. In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by his brothers, Bernard Spud, Richard, Carl, Wayne, Selbert and Eric Frankforther; and sister, Opal
