Leonard Jack Pollock

Leonard J. Pollock age 85 formerly of Woodland Ave., Perrysburg passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Manor of Perrysburg where he was a resident the last 6 years. He was born in Toledo, Ohio May 31, 1923 to J. D. and Ida Pollock. An Army Veteran of WWII, Leonard served in the Aleutian Islands. He was a truck driver for Columbia Concrete Block Company and Georgia Pacific retiring in 1979. After retirement he worked part-time for Roe, Inc. Leonard was a member of the Teamsters for 30 years and enjoyed bowling at Interstate Lanes and gardening. Preceded in death by his sisters, Marie Stultz and Dorothy Kyer, he is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Mary; sons, Larry Liz and Daniel Lisby Pollock; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Family and friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home on Friday, November 14 from 4-7 pm where funeral services will be held Saturday, November 15 at 1 pm.
