Leona May Reiger

Leona Lee May Reiger, 86, a lifelong resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully Monday, December 2, 2013, while under the loving care of staff at the Grand Villa Memory Care Facility in Pinellas Park, Florida. Leona was born to Jeannie and Chester Shull on July 7, 1927. A housewife and loving mother, she loved crafts and gifting them to family and friends. Leona was an avid traveler and had the opportunity to travel with her husband, Robert, to Europe twice and also to Hawaii. Leona is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Bobbie; brothers, Robert and Earl Shull and sisters, Betty Clark and Lois Smith. Leona is survived by son, Rick Chris Reiger; daughter, Robyn Kevin Cable; four grandchildren, Dedra Reiger, Json Cable, Korie Cable and Paige Cable-Nirenberg; and three great-grandchildren, Isaiah Cable, Garren Cable and Nevaeh Cable. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Grand Villa Memory Care Facility and SunCoast Hospice. Visitation will be Friday, December 13, 2013 from 5-8 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. in Toledo, Ohio where funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10am.
