Leona W. Henderson

Leona W. Henderson, 79, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Monday, August 11, 2014 at her residence. Leona was born on August 13, 1934 in Gurdon, AR, the daughter of Edward and Winona (Perry) Woodbury. She worked as a ward clerk for H. B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She will be greatly missed by her loving family & friends. Survivors include: Daughter: Tania L. (Rodriquoes) Morgan of Avondale, AZ; Foster Sister: Emily (Joy) Sherred of Port Clinton, OH; Grandsons: Dareionn T. (Lea)Henderson & Sajvoun D. Henderson; Great-Grandchildren: Xia B. Henderson & Jaiden M. Henderson and many loving nieces & nephews. Leona was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Claude Edward Woodbury and maternal & paternal grandparents. There will be no visitation or services. Leona generously donated her body to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, OH in order to improve and save the lives of others. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, assisted the family with arrangements.
