Leona May Cook, 84, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center. She was born on January 21, 1932 in Luckey, OH to Jerome and Glenna Hagemeyer. Leona worked at Champion Spark Plug and Peter Stamping for many years and a member of the Maumee Eagles. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, sewing, bowling and fishing. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Leona is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Gary) Deer and Sandra Cook-Adams; Sons, Thomas A. Roe Sr. (Sue) and Russell (Linda) Cook; Son-in-Law, Robert Miller; 10 Grandchildren, 20 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Barbara Barnes and Joyce Ann Royer and Brothers, Denny (Shirley) and George Hagemeyer. In addition to her parents, Leona was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph F. Cook; daughter, Karen Miller; grandson, Joshua Miller and her brother, Jerome Hagemeyer. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St, Maumee on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 3 PM until the times of services at 7:00 PM.
