Leola C. Pringle Herroon

Leola C. Pringle Herroon, 90, of Genoa, formerly of Rossford, Ohio, died in the Genoa Retirement Village Thursday morning, July 24, 2008. She was born August 17, 1917, in Fostoria, Ohio, to Rollo and Rosa Atherton Gingrich. Leola was a homemaker, who enjoyed crocheting, quilting and sewing, and enjoyed fishing in Canada with her late husband, George. She is survived by her daughter JoAnn McNary of Genoa and son, Mike Nancy Pringle of Toledo, nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Beverly Stringham, brother, Robert Gingrich, and step daughter, Mary Lou Doug Watkins. Leola was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Roy Pringle and George Herroon, daughter, Nancy Dick Nagy, son-in-law, Jack McNary, and step daughter, Debbie Almester. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008, in the funeral home with interment to follow in New Belleville Ridge Cemetery, Dowling, Ohio. The family has suggested memorials to the American Cancer Society, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or the donors choice.
