Lemar Zink

LeMar “Lou” Zink, a loving husband, father, grandfather, age 87, passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side after a long illness, Thursday, December 3, 2020. Married his high school sweetheart, Carolyn Denner, enjoying 67 years together. Served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean war. Worked 33 years at Haughton Elevators (Schindler). In retirement, enjoyed being with family, going to and having garage sales and being the families fix it man. Lou is survived by his wife Carolyn, children; Stephanie Zink- Singer, Cheryl Mocek (Jim), Steven (Cathy). Grandchildren; Kimberly, Christie, Matthew, Kendall, Maureen, Colleen, Elizabeth, Great grandchildren; Austin, Landon, Braxton, Jaxon, Carter, Lily, Henry and Charles. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 10:30-11:00 a.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2240 Castlewood Dr, Toledo, OH. 43613 where funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society of Northwest Ohio, 740 Commerce Dr. Ste 8 Perrysburg, OH 43551.
