Leland E. Nason

Leland E. Nason, 85, of Marblehead, OH, passed away, Sunday evening, April 19, 2009 at his residence in Marblehead, OH. He was born on May 24, 1923 in Wakeman, OH, the son of Leonard and Elsie Barber Nason. On November 29, 1945 in Lakeside, OH, he married Margaret A. Klatcik. Leland served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He worked as a mechanic for Winkes Boat Storage retiring in 1981. Leland enjoyed repairing and painting old golf carts. He raised chickens and ducks. Leland will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife of 63 years: Margaret A. Nason of Marblehead, OH; Son: Ronald Nason of Bellevue, OH; Daughter: Cynthia Mike Whiting of Marblehead, OH; Son: John Sandy Nason of Dover, DE; 12 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren; Brother: Donald Nason and Sister: Blanche Greenless. Leland was preceded in death by his parents, sons: Steven Nason, David Nason and Richard Nason, sister: Beatrice Christensen and infant sister. Per the wishes of the deceased there will be no visitation or services. Memorial donations in memory of Leland may be directed to Memorial Home Health & Hospice.
