Lela M. Guinther

Lela M. Guinther age 86, of Maumee passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Lela was born in Steubenville, OH on June 10, 1925. She was a former member of Lake Township Fire Belles. Lela enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, animals and decorating her house. She was also an avid Detroit Red Wings, Pittsburg Steelers and Michigan Wolverines fan. Lela is survived by her son, Paul A. Deb Guinther of Van Wert, OH; daughter, Ruth Anne Jim Servais of Maumee, OH; grandchildren, Katie Guinther, Elizabeth Libby Servais and Emily Servais. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents, Russell and Irene Walker Grano and her step-father, Andrew Makin who raised her. Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne- Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Thursday from 5-8 pm where funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm.
