Monday LeeAnne LeeAnne Monday, 94, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Sunset House in Toledo after a short illness. LeeAnne was born August 27, 1914 in Washington, PA to Charles and Elizabeth Davis. Her family moved to Toledo when LeeAnne was in grade school. She lived in Toledo until 1984 when she moved to Augusta, GA where she remained for 17 years until returning to Toledo in 2001. LeeAnne was a longtime employee of the former W.T. Grant Company at Miracle Mile Shopping Center, retiring in 1976 when the store closed. She was a very good bowler and enjoyed playing bingo, sometimes several times a week. In her years at Sunset House, she was very active in resident activities- crafts, games, and outings. LeeAnne married Kelcy Rual Monday in 1931 who preceded her in death in 1974. Her son, Dale Monday, also preceded her in death in 2005. LeeAnne will be sadly missed by her daughters, Shirley Arnold Retzlaff of Toledo and Peggy Jack Daugherty of Ann Arbor, MI; daughter-in-law, Wilma Monday of Oregon, OH; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; sister, Betty Sid Crandall of Walbridge, OH; brother, Ray Ann Davis of Semmes, AL; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday from 3-8:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Hospice of NW Ohio, 30000 River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551 or Sunset House Employee Appreciation Fund, 4020 Indian Rd., Ottawa Hills, OH 43606.
