Lee J Sutherland

Lee J. Sutherland, 84, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at his residence. Lee was born on May 21, 1931 in Wilder, VA, the son of Clyde Clayton and Oma (Johnson) Sutherland. He worked as a machine operator for Chrysler Plastics for 35 years. On April 08, 1955 in Fremont, OH, he married Thelma Heron and she survives. Lee liked to work around his yard, fishing and hunting. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory are: Loving Wife of 61 years: Thelma Sutherland; Son: Michael Sutherland; Brothers: James Sutherland, Claude P. Sutherland, Truman Sutherland and Cecil Sutherland and; Sister: Lois Harner. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Virginia Kaiser and infant brother: McArthur Sutherland. Per the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Lee may be given to the Port Clinton Fire Department or to North Central EMS, 1755 State St., Port Clinton, OH 43452.
