Lee Robert Seitz

Lee Robert Seitz age 74 of Powell, OH passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Lee was born in Toledo, OH on August 29, 1933 to Oliver and Helen Boerst Seitz. Lee was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War. In 1960, Lee earned an International Business Degree from the University of Toledo. Lee was employed as a Cost Analyst for the Jeep Corporation in Toledo for 8 years; American General Corp. in South Bend, IN for 20 years and BMY Corp in Marysville, OH for 4 years. His memberships included The Summit Club, South Bend former member; Sciota Golf and Athletic Club; and St. Mary Church, Delaware, OH where he was a Eucharistic Minister. He was a loving husband, devoted father and beloved Papa. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lala Heilman Seitz; son, Thomas Carol Seitz of Washington, DC; daughters, Jane Keith Baker of Denver, CO; Carrie Scott Douglas of Hailey, ID and grandchildren, Nolan, Olivia, Sam, Zander, Teddy and Henry. Also surviving is his sister, Rose Gene DeAngelis of Toledo and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jane and Mary and brothers, Chuck, Don and Dick. Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee on Monday July 28th, 2008 from 3-9 pm with a scripture service at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday in the funeral home at 10:00 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Church in Maumee. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
