Lee W. Rehkopf

Rehkopf Lee William A kind and gentle man, Lee Rehkopf, 67 of Toledo, died Thursday, March 5, 2009 at the Hospice and Comfort Unit of Flower Hospital in Sylvania. Lee was born in Toledo, OH on July 14, 1941 to Elinore and Leo Rehkopf. He worked in security for most of his life in the Toledo area until his retirement in 2003. A passionate sports fan, Lee followed Ohio, Toledo, high school, college, and professional sports and was an authority on them all. He was also a true animal lover and never lived a day without a cat or dog by his side. All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small. Lee is survived by a loving family; mother, Elinore Thompson; sister, Gloria Heidtman Bill; nephews, David Cook Heidi, Christopher Cook Kate, and Shane Komives Alicia; Four great-nephews and five great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his father. God speed dear son, brother, uncle and friend. May the Lord hold you in the palm of His hand. In accordance to Lees wishes, his graveside service will be private.
