Laya Ahmed
July 5, 1934 — May 12, 2024
Laya was born in Lebanon and passed on May 12, 2024. She came to America in 1950 with her one-year-old son on a ship named Neptune, followed by her husband Abdallah (Al) of 63 years.
They ran Al Ahmed’s steakhouse with their family for 53 years.
Wife of the late Abdallah (Al) Ahmed, mother of Z. Tom, H. Sam, and H. Faye. Grandmother of Hassen, Danya, Abdallah, Cassim, Ali, Jamel, and Rommy. Great grandmother of Zain, Emma, Mazen, Malek, and Lana. She will be missed.
