Lawrence P. Shortridge

Lawrence P. Shortridge, 60, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH, surrounded by his loving family. Lawrence was born on April 21, 1953 in Port Clinton, OH, the son of Charles and Nancy Jeremy Shortridge. On July 10, 1971 in Port Clinton, OH, he married Rebecca A. Hofacker and she survives. Lawrence retired as the owner/operator of B & L Shortridge Tree Service. He attended Peace Lutheran Church. Lawrence loved traveling, hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife of 41 years: Rebecca A. Shortridge of Port Clinton; Daughter: Amanda Welter of Port Clinton; Son: Christopher Trina Shortridge of Port Clinton; Grandchildren: Damien, Zane and Aeris; Brothers: Charles Rick Mary Jo Shortridge of Sandusky and Mark Rhonda Shortridge of Marblehead; Sisters: Joni David Betschman of Rome, GA and Mary Dale Mackey of Port Clinton. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Nancy Haugh. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Roose Cemetery in Oak Harbor, OH. . Memorial donations in memory of Lawrence may be given to Stein Hospice or Bay Twp. Vol. Fire Dept.
