Lawrence Palmerton

Lawrence J. Palmerton, 74, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH. Larry was born on May 30, 1938 in Toledo, OH, the son of Earl Jay and Mertel Louise Bell Palmerton. On June 15, 1991 in Toledo, OH he married Louise A. Reitz and she preceded him in death on March 28, 2012. He worked as a truck driver. Larry was a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH. Survivors include: Son: Jessie Sterlin; Brothers: Donald Palmerton and Joe Palmerton. Larry was preceded in death by his wife and parents. Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Peace Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH with visitation 1 hour prior from 10-11AM. Interment will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH. Memorial donations in memory of Larry may be given to Stein Hospice.
