Lawrence Vince Manz, Sr.

Lawrence V. Manz, Sr. Vince, age 91, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 in Toledo Hospital. He was born April 16, 1920 in Toledo to Lorenzo and Amalia Manz. Vince was a production worker for the Dana Corporation for 36 years, retiring in 1977. He enjoyed camping, traveling and wintering in Florida and Texas, but especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Vince was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; brothers, John and George; and sisters, Anna, Louise, Dolly, Rose and Helen. He is survived by daughter, Diane Lee Williams; sons Larry Camie Manz, Jr. and Ron Becky Manz; grandchildren, Kevin, Keith Amy, and Kasey Jennifer Williams, Tammy Heiserman, Larry Kelly Manz III, and Craig Lori, Marcus Gina and Troy Dawn Manz and Ron Pam Manz, Jr.; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and long time dear companion, Clara Pirucki. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 2-9 PM in the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania west of Corey where funeral services will begin Friday at 9:15 am followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 10 AM in St. Clement Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd., Toledo.
