Lawrence Larry A. Ludlow, 63, of Maumee, OH left this earth peacefully on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, in Avalon at Otterbein in Perrysburg. Larry was the youngest child of Keene and Irma Wyss Ludlow, born on August 22, 1949. He attended Lott Industries since the age of seven. His outgoing personality touched everyone whoever met him. One could say he was an ambassador for Downs Syndrome. Larry lived his life to the fullest. He loved music, dancing, bowling, the Three Stooges, the Dukes of Hazard, riding in his nephew, Matts bucket truck and in Arts MG, riding in his brother, Martys semi-truck, and camping. He looked forward to camping at Camp Courageous each summer. He was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Maumee. Surviving are his sisters and brothers, Laura Art Shippey, Thomas Donna Ludlow, Joan Fred Zelling, Martin Sharon Ludlow, Kersinda Foster and John Ludlow. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins, and friends too numerous to mention. His parents preceded him in death. Family and friends will be received from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Monday March 4, 2013 at 9:30 am followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Maumee. Interment will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551; or the charity of the donors choice. The family extends sincere thanks to the staff of Otterbein of Perrysburg and to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
