Lawrence Garrett

Lawrence J. “Cappy” Garrett Lawrence J. “Cappy” Garrett, 89 of Walbridge, died February 3, 2012 at Orchard Villa Nursing Home. He was born in Circle Hill, Ohio on January 11, 1923 to Clarence (Agnes Johnson) Garrett. He was employed with CSX Railroad, retiring in 1984. He served his country during World War II in the Marines and was a member of the Walbridge Post V.F.W. #9963. He was preceded in death by his wife: Margaret “Sue” Garrett Surviving are their children: Cathy S. Garrett, Thomas E. (Shelley) Garrett, Grandchildren: Matthew (Jennifer) Garrett, and Lynn (Joseph) Brosious, Great Grandchildren: Owen and Audrey Garrett, Mason and Connor Brosious. Friends will be received in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121) from 11 Am -1PM Monday, February 6, 2011. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
