Lawrence Thomas Curtis

Lawrence T. Curtis, age 68, died June 6, 2016 at his home. Dr. Curtis received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1975 from the University of Toledo College of Law. He started his career with the Ohio Attorney General. Working in Columbus office from 1975 to 1977, he was instrumental in drafting Juvenile Justice legislation. In 1977 he went into private practice in Toledo. He was member of Samaria Masonic Lodge No. 438 and the Zenobia Shriners. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Judith; daughter, Laura (Michael) Judson; son, Stephen (Julia Zwiebel) Curtis; sister, Elizabeth Zoeller; nieces, Kathleen (Joseph) Culp, Amy Zoeller, Molly (Alkis) Marangos; and nephew, David Zoeller. The family request that tributes be made to Dendarah Court (care of Patricia Thakur, 715 S. Holland-Sylvania Rd #27 Toledo, OH 43615-6365) which will then be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
