Lawrence R. Bialecki, Sr.

Lawrence R. Bialecki, Sr., age 70, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Friday July 31, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born on September 13, 1944 in Neapolis, Ohio to Steve and Mary (Schudel) Bialecki. Lawrence graduated from Anthony Wayne High School and later drafted into the United States Army. For 44 years, he worked for Jeep/Chysler where he was a millwright and a Union Representative. Lawrence was a member of St. Patrick Parish in Grand Rapids, Ohio, the Maumee American Legion and UAW Local 12. He enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking and playing his guitar with his band. Most of all, family was everything to Lawrence and he loved them dearly. Lawrence is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Shirley; son, Larry (Kristi) Bialecki, Jr.; daughter, Pattie (Jody) Barnes; grandchildren, Jacqueline (Thomas), Larry III, Nic, Steffy and Jon; great grandson, Charlie; brothers and sisters, Robert (Arlene) Bialecki, Loretta Mosher, Martha Cluckey, Stan Bialecki, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Clara and brother, Edward. Visitation will be held on Friday August 7, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537 with a scripture service at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday August 8, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Parish, 14010 US RT 24, Grand Rapids, Ohio 43522. Interment will be in St. Patrick Parish Cemetery, Grand Rapids. Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Lawrence to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 River Road, Perrysburg, Ohio.
