Laverne I Trapp

LaVerne I. Gunn Trapp, age 80, of Holland, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 9, 2010 in her home. She was born July 2, 1930 in Holland, Ohio to Jack and Lucille Preston Gunn. LaVerne was employed as a secretary for the gas company in Toledo and Maumee for 10 years. She was a devout member of Providence Lutheran Church, serving on many committees especially the property and funeral committees. LaVerne enjoyed flowers and sewing, but the greatest love of her life was her family, especially her grandchildren. LaVerne is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert L. Trapp, Jr.; son, John Kathy Trapp; and grandchildren, Jason, Matthew and Tiffany Trapp. Family and friends may visit Tuesday, October 12, 2010 from 3-8 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee. Visitation will continue Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am in Providence Lutheran Church, 8131 Airport Highway.
