Laurie Ann Porus

Laurie Ann Porus, 54, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at her home. She was born on June 16, 1962 in Toledo to George and Lara (McCullough) Timmons. Laurie married Alan D. Porus on June 16, 1999 also in Toledo. Laurie loved animals, particularly her cats. She enjoyed writing as well as drawing. Laurie also loved to spend time with children, especially her grandchildren. Laurie is survived by her loving husband; Alan D. Porus; daughter, Alexis A. (James) Stutzman; grandchildren, Kristin, Andrew and Jase Frederick and Ayden Florence; siblings, Karen (Bud) Rose, George (Linda) Timmons, Terry (Karen) Timmons, Dale Timmons and Tom Timmons. She is preceded in death by her mother and father; and brothers, Dave Timmons and Jerome Gowing. Friends will be received on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879). Funeral services and burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
