Laurie Minor, 52, passed away on December 5, 2025, in Toledo, OH.

Laurie Minor was born on February 1, 1973 in Toledo, OH, to Larry Combs and Juanita Medellin.

Laurie graduated from Bowsher Highschool. She started her career as a Homemaker and amazing mother.

Laurie was married and divorced to Keith Minor and the couple had 5 beautiful children, Fantasia Combs, Rico Minor, Laura Minor, Mary Minor, and Kevlito Minor.

Laurie is survived by all her children, Carmen Allen Adopted Mother -, Larry Combs - father, Juanita Medellin - mother, Rico Scott Minor - grandson, Carlito Minor - grandson, Solo Minor - grandson, Amelia Minor - granddaughter, Georgia Leaf - granddaughter.

Laurie is preceded in death by her sister Cheryl Combs and granddaughter Sol Taborn.

Laurie was passionate about being a Mother, and grandmother. She was a family strong individual who loved bringing everyone together. She loved being in nature, fishing, gardening, and anything that involved being at the beach. Laurie moved from her hometown to California which was always her dream and where she fell in love with the L.A. lights and the oceanside. She was most proud of all her children and loved all her Grandchildren and Grand-dogs. She enjoyed dancing, and entertaining. Often smiling she was always down for a road trip and traveling. A true socialite always bringing joy to those around her. She was passionate about art and very creative. She loved making lasagna on Sundays and on cold days you'd find her under a heated blanket watching a show or her Dallas Cowboys. Her laugh was infectious. Her beauty was something to rave about. Laurie was a true light to be around, who radiated an intense loving energy sure to be felt and passed on to anyone who was graced by her presence.

The service for Laurie Minor's Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.
