Laurie L. Dollar Bill Mehl

Laurie “Dollar Bill” L. Mehl, 59, of Toledo, OH, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 3, 1959 in Toledo to James M. and Barbara J. (Montague) Mehl. Laurie was employed for over 32 years with Lott Industries before retiring in 2015. She loved to listen to music and enjoyed doing her bookwork. Laurie always knew her money and it affectionately earned her the nickname “Dollar Bill”. She enjoyed Bingo and being around her family, especially her great nieces and nephews. Laurie is survived by her loving mother, Barbara J. Mehl; siblings, Lisa J. Kessinger and Scott A. (Susan) Mehl; nieces and nephews, Steven W. (Kara) Kessinger, Jessica E. (Daniel) Kessinger, Dylon J. Kessinger, Madison L. Mehl and Jon, James A. Mehl; great nieces and nephews, Steven J., Gage D., Lyla S. and Kyndra J.; aunt, Sue (Jim) Karns; uncle, Jerry Gracyk; aunt, Eva (Gene) Esterline; uncle, Larry (Linda) Keil and uncle, Ted Keil. Laurie was preceded in death by her father, James M. Mehl. Friends will be received on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Neville-Shank Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be held privately.
