Laurie A. Duty

Laurie A. Duty, 29, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Monday, March 31, 2008 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Toledo, OH on September 16, 1978. Laurie worked as a bartender at the Port Clinton Elks Lodge #1718 and as a receptionist at Marina Del Isle. She was a member of the Port Clinton Elks and worked for many of the fraternal organizations in Port Clinton. She enjoyed playing pool. Laurie will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her Sister: Kit Chuck Carroll of Phoenix, AZ; Brother: Nelson Amy Duty of Rocky Ridge, OH; Nieces: Raeanna and Autumn Duty; Adopted Parents: Sharon Tokar and Vick Burrows. Laurie was preceded in death by an infant sister: Jennifer Duty. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8PM, Wednesday, April 02, 2008 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, April 03, 2008 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery.
