Laura B Kimberly

Laura B. Kimberly, age 95 of Toledo passed away Saturday February 11, 2012 in the home of her daughter surrounded by her family. She was born December 3, 1916 in Ruttles Mills, Kentucky to Edward and Shellie Greene. She was a 1934 graduate of Marshall High School in Marshall, Ohio where she played varsity basketball all four years. Her family was her main purpose in life and she was a wonderful cook and housekeeper even after she lost her sight 35 years ago. Laura was the widow of Richard F. Kimberly and was also preceded in death by her daughter Sandra J. Kimberly. Surviving are her daughter Chryl Kimberly Jay Kaplan; son Richard L. Kimberly; 11 grandchildren including Tylie Bach Melissa Beaudo; 13 great-grandchildren including Kyle and Zachry Miller and Emilee Beaudo; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister Tempa Grebe; faithful companion Nemo; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 2-8 PM in the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM.
