Larson Evan Labine

Larson Evan LaBine, 62, of Graytown, Ohio lost his battle with covid on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Bellevue Hospital in Bellevue, Ohio. Larson was born on May 29, 1959 in Sandusky, Ohio to Howard and LaDonna (Knopp) LaBine. He graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1977. He married Brenda Kay Behlmer on January 18, 1986. He worked in Mechanical Maintenance as the Lead Mechanic at Graymont for 44 years. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Blackberry, Ohio. His favorite pastimes were duck and geese hunting, fishing, gardening, riding his bike with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren. Larson was a gentle, giving soul. He was a jack of all trades and was always willing to lend a hand. He had a great sense of humor and loved being a Papa to his grandkids. Our world will be empty without him. Larson is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Brenda LaBine, of Graytown; step-sons Calvin (Monica) Metcalf of Genoa, Jamie of Gibsonburg, Timothy (Amy) of Oak Harbor, grandchildren; Brock (Maddison), Clayton, Jason, Troy and Calica Metcalf, brother Howard (Lori) LaBine and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and LaDonna LaBine, brother Matthew LaBine and step-son Jason Metcalf. Visitation for Larson will be Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 2-8 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Holli Burkard 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 21, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church, 450 Rocky-Ridge Rd., Oak Harbor with burial to follow in Limestone Cemetery, Graytown, OH.
