Larry J. Rollins

Larry J. Rollins, 55, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Wednesday, January 05, 2011 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born on October 27, 1955, in Port Clinton, OH to William Geneth and Gracie Allene Perry Rollins. He played football for Port Clinton High School. On April 10, 1996, he married Brenda K. Horn and she survives. Larry worked at the Myers Propane Co. formerly in Sandusky, OH until his retirement. He was a member of The Gathering Church in Port Clinton, OH. Larry was an avid hunter, enjoyed flea markets and antiques. He was a good mechanic and loved to work on cars. Larry especially adored his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving wife: Brenda K. Rollins; Daughter: Dawn Marie Crawford; Sons: William Geneth Vickie Rollins II, David Michael Rollins and Larry J. Rollins Jr.; Grandchildren: Anyssa, Roger, William, Haley, BreAnne and Taylor and Sister: Diana Roberts. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, son: Frank T. Fox IV and sister: Sharon K. Rollins. Visitation will be 2-4 6-8PM, Friday, January 07, 2011 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Brad Wood at 11:00AM, Saturday, January 08, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Larry, may be given to the family or Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH.
