Larry Greer

Larry Greer, 70, of Genoa, Ohio, died suddenly on Monday, September 10, 2007, in Louisville, Kentucky, as a result of an auto accident. Larry was born May 8, 1937, in Boaz, Alabama, to Edger and Jewel Walford Greer. On April 24, 1955, in Trenton, Georgia, he married Doris A. Neff and she survives. Larry was an owner/operator for Globe Trucking Company for over 22 years. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Elmore and was an avid Bible reader. Larry enjoyed camping and fishing and was a jokester who loved to tell stories.In addition to his wife, Doris, he survived by his children, Robert Darla Greer, David Greer, Theresa Rory Jordan, Tammy Casey Kaiser and ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Hunter Hicks and Cole Kaiser. Larry is also survived by his siblings, Sue Burns, Georgie Fred Henning, Claris Greer, Patsy David Davis, Paulette Jeff Cook, Cindy Gary Williams, and his mother-in-law, Thelma Neff.Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2007, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2007, in the funeral home with interment to follow in Clay Township Cemetery. Memorials for Larry may be directed to Heritage Baptist Church, Elmore.
