Larry Donald Binkley

Larry Donald Binkley, age 89, of Seminole, FL, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, at Suncoast Hospice in Pinellas Park, Florida.

He was born in Toledo, OH on April 21, 1937, to Helen (Ream) and Donald Binkley. Larry married the love of his life, Barbara (Meader), on March 19, 1960. Larry worked as a construction millwright, Local 1393, out of Toledo, OH and was a proud Army Veteran. He served as a "Tweener" between the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Larry was a member of Blanchard #102, F&AM, Adrian Commandery #4, Knights Templar, River Raisin #208 OES, and other Masonic affiliated fraternities.

He was a consummate caregiver as demonstrated by the amazing care he took of his beloved Barb for over 10 years until her passing on August 13, 2007.

Larry married Cynthia Volk in the eyes of God in 2011 and enjoyed a special relationship with her daughter and son-in-law, Kelli and David Bercik, and their children Alex (Sierra), Theo, and Caden.

Larry is survived by his sons, Daniel (Ellen) of Clay, MI and Dale (Aubrey) of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Dale (Christy), Morgan (Brandon), Shelby, Austin, Christian, and Benjamin; great-grandchildren, Landon, Cohen, Nolan, Keagan, Kellan, Isabella, Marissa, and Joslyn; brother-in-law Charles (Marie) Meader; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Barbara Hollinger, great grandson, Jared Torres, his nephew, Steven Meader and niece, Kathy Kohler.

Friends and family will be received Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 2-7 P.M. at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo Ohio, where funeral services will be held Monday, July 13, 2026 at 10 A.M. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Larry's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Shriner's Hospital.
