Larry Lee Barnes

Larry Lee Barnes, age 84, of Toledo, Ohio passed away at Toledo Hospital surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Gloria; his daughters, Patti Walcher (Jerry), and Holly Bianchi (Jim); son, Steve (Erin); his grandchildren, Kate, Sophie & Ben Walcher, Jimmy & Bella Bianchi; and his beloved dog, Poco. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Barnes; his father, Carl Max Barnes; and his sister, Carla Brubaker. Larry was a 1958 graduate of Rogers High school. He attended Heidelberg University, the University of Hawaii & Toledo University. He served in the Army before his careers in finance, hospitality management, and eventually starting his own construction companies. Larry and his family spent many years living in Genoa, where he enjoyed coaching, umpiring, and performing in community theater.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., with a memorial service beginning at 2 p.m.
