Larry Baldwin age 60 passed away Monday, August 18, 2008, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 4, 1948 in Toledo to Roy Walter and Donna Lee Kline Baldwin. Larry was an US Army veteran serving in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne. He was employed as an Electrician with Toledo Edison for 34 years, and member of Local 245. A humble, giving man, Larry was an avid golfer and outdoorsman and also enjoyed camping, fishing and nature. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he will be missed by all who loved him. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Sandra VanSlyke Baldwin whom he married November 20, 1987; daughter, Stephanie Bill; sons, Chris Jayme Baldwin, Cecil Robin Torres and Tino Shelby Torres; 9 grandchildren and one on the way; step-mother, Mildred Baldwin, brothers, Michael Maria Baldwin and Chuck Carol Dolt; sisters, Cherie Zattau and Gay Ken Hosley; and special friends, Dick and Betty Gillen and Bill Hendricks. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Trinity Torres; brother, Steven Baldwin; uncles Chuck Baldwin and Warren Zeke Baldwin and friend, Terry Clapper. Family and friends may visit Thursday from 3-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Neapolis, OH.
