Kurt Micah Kohn

Kurt M. Kohn, age 17, passed away Wednesday Aug 13, 2014.  The son of Lisa and Ken, he was born October 1, 1996 in Sylvania.  In junior high, he wrestled and won several medals in various tournaments.  He was a graduate of Southview High School where he fine tuned is remarkable talent for auto body repair.  He took great pride in his ability to restore cars and was proud of his 2001 Mustang.  He volunteered with the Zenobia Shrine and Dendarah Court and was a member of Ashland Church where he was in the Hand Bell Choir.  When he was not working at Vitos Pizza where he was voted employee of the month for August, Kurt enjoyed spending time with his friends, playing video games, being on his cell phone and his Arizona Sweet Tea.  He might have been one of the biggest Baltimore Raven fans around.   He is survived by his parents, Lisa and Ken; brothers, Kenny and Kevin; grandparents, Jim & Sandy Potter, Al & Ruth Kohn; great-grandfather, Bob Louy and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomasina and Ken LeBay.   Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 2-9 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd) where services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to Kurts family that will be donated together in his name.
