Krishna Deo, Sr.

Krishna Deo, Sr., age 65, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor. He was born August 30, 1945 in the Fiji Islands to Mohan Lal and Ram Raji. He was sponsored by Charlie Deema in 1968 to come to the United States to work as a dental technician for 42 years. Kris was a devoted husband, loving father, a wonderful Nana to his grandchildren and a loyal loving friend. He also enjoyed gardening, playing with animals and feeding his squirrels. Surviving is his wife, Mohini Krishna Deo; children, Krishna Deo, Jr., Sharon Aaron Thompson, Alvin Krishna Deo, Kritin Krishna Deo and Jasmin Lata Deo; grandchildren, Tina Denise Deo, Amber Nicole Deo, Samantha Ashley Scholl, Ryan Michelle Deo and A.J. Thompson; and brothers, Gyan Deo, Moti Deo, Hair Chand and Ajay Kumar. Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. on Friday from 2-9 PM where funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 AM. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staffs in the ICU/CCU unit of Toledo Hospital for their care of Krishna and direct any memorials in his memory to Toledo Hospital ICU/CC unit.
